Actualmente, es considerado de gran impacto en las organizaciones. Sin embargo, no siempre fue as\u00ed. Como resultado del <strong>acuerdo de Basilea II<\/strong>, se le empieza a prestar mucha m\u00e1s atenci\u00f3n a los riesgos operacionales.<\/p>\n<p>Antes de seguir avanzando, debemos responder una par de preguntas:<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"En_primer_lugar_%C2%BFque_es_el_riesgo_operativo\"><\/span><strong>En primer lugar, \u00bfqu\u00e9 es el riesgo operativo?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Siguiendo la definici\u00f3n recogida en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bis.org\/publ\/bcbs128.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Acuerdo de Basilea II<\/a>, el riesgo operacional es aquel que puede provocar p\u00e9rdidas debido a<strong> errores humanos<\/strong>, procesos internos inadecuados o defectuosos, <strong>fallos en los sistemas<\/strong> y como consecuencia de acontecimientos externos. Desde los peque\u00f1os errores humanos hasta los <strong>desastres naturales<\/strong>, cualquier evento que perturbe el flujo normal de las operaciones puede desencadenar riesgos operacionales.<\/p>\n<p>Por este motivo, la incapacidad de anticipar y gestionar estos riesgos puede desembocar en <strong>p\u00e9rdidas econ\u00f3micas significativas<\/strong>.
