Solo con una correcta gesti\u00f3n, la empresa tendr\u00e1 los suficientes bienes para satisfacer su <strong>demanda de productos<\/strong>. Las empresas cuentan con varios m\u00e9todos y herramientas para <strong>controlar su stock, pero<\/strong>\u00a0en este art\u00edculo vamos a centrarnos en uno: el <strong>stock de seguridad<\/strong> es la cantidad de producto que la empresa decide mantener en su almac\u00e9n para evitar una rotura de stock en los momentos que la demanda supera las previsiones realizadas.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p>Sin el stock de seguridad, la empresa sufrir\u00eda una rotura de stock cada vez que la empresa falle a la hora de prever su demanda futura.<\/p>\r\n<p>El <strong>stock de seguridad<\/strong> tiene por objeto compensar los errores de previsi\u00f3n de las ventas durante el per\u00edodo de reaprovisionamiento y las variaciones imposibles de prever, garantizando as\u00ed el nivel de servicio deseado.<\/p>\r\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Prevision_de_la_demanda\"><\/span><strong>Previsi\u00f3n de la demanda<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p>La<strong> previsi\u00f3n de la demanda<\/strong> es esencial para el desarrollo de la actividad empresarial, ya que afecta a \u00e1reas cr\u00edticas como la compra de materia prima, producci\u00f3n, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inesem.es\/revistadigital\/gestion-empresarial\/que-es-la-gestion-de-almacenes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la gesti\u00f3n del almac\u00e9n<\/a><\/strong> y del inventario y la distribuci\u00f3n.<\/p>\r\n<p>Su correcto c\u00e1lculo har\u00e1 que la empresa sea m\u00e1s eficiente reduciendo los costes provocados por el mantenimiento de un stock excesivo o aquellos causados por una rotura de stock.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>Hay una serie de factores determinantes para la demanda, compuestos por variables controlables por la organizaci\u00f3n, pero existen otras muchas variables que no pueden ser controladas por la misma.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>El comportamiento del comprador: no existe un \u00fanico perfil de cliente, por ello ser\u00e1 muy dif\u00edcil predecir sus comportamientos. Son muchas las variables que influyen en el comportamiento como sus patrones de compra, el poder adquisitivo, caracter\u00edsticas socioecon\u00f3micas, las modas del mercado, las expectativas respecto a nuestro producto, etc.<\/li>\r\n<li>La competencia: su consolidaci\u00f3n en el mercado, su imagen entre los consumidores, su propia visi\u00f3n empresarial, el respeto por la legislaci\u00f3n y la \u00e9tica profesional, etc.<\/li>\r\n<li>Las circunstancias macroecon\u00f3micas: las tendencias econ\u00f3micas globales y regionales, los cambios pol\u00edticos, las nuevas tendencias sociales, los flujos migratorios, la revoluci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica, la climatolog\u00eda, etc.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Para realizar una correcta previsi\u00f3n de la demanda ser\u00e1 necesario utilizar datos hist\u00f3ricos, analizar las tendencias del mercado y utilizar t\u00e9cnicas para estimar de manera precisa y realista la demanda futura de nuestros productos o servicios.<\/p>\r\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Parametros_del_stock\"><\/span><strong>Par\u00e1metros del stock<br \/><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p>Las empresas utilizan ciertos <strong>par\u00e1metros para ajustar la cantidad de stock<\/strong> que mantiene en sus almacenes. Es posible distinguir varios tipos de stock:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Stock m\u00e1ximo<\/strong>: Hace referencia a la cantidad m\u00e1xima de productos o recursos que se pueden almacenarse teniendo en cuenta el costo asociado y los l\u00edmites que la empresa puede soportar.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Stock m\u00ednimo<\/strong>: Hace referencia a la cantidad m\u00ednima de productos o recursos que se deben almacenar para abastecer a nuestra demanda.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Si utilizamos unos par\u00e1metros de abastecimiento cercanos al <strong>stock m\u00e1ximo<\/strong>, la empresa no necesitar\u00e1 de un stock de seguridad; sin embargo, si la empresa apuesta por <strong>mantener un stock m\u00ednimo,<\/strong> deber\u00e1 gestionar cuidadosamente el stock de seguridad que m\u00e1s se ajuste a sus necesidades.<\/p>\r\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Punto_de_pedido_y_plazo_de_entrega\"><\/span><strong>Punto de pedido y plazo de entrega<br \/><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p>El <strong>punto de pedido<\/strong> es el nivel de stock que resalta la necesidad de la <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inesem.es\/revistadigital\/gestion-empresarial\/preparacion-de-pedidos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">realizaci\u00f3n de un nuevo pedido<\/a><\/strong> para evitar que se produzca una <strong>rotura de stock<\/strong>. Se emite un pedido de forma peri\u00f3dica o cuando las existencias actuales no cubren la demanda en el plazo de entrega de los proveedores, obligando a la empresa a reponer r\u00e1pidamente las existencias.<\/p>\r\n<p>Si la empresa acaba consumiendo unidades del stock de seguridad, deber\u00e1 a\u00f1adir este n\u00famero en el pr\u00f3ximo pedido para garantizar que el nivel de stock de seguridad se mantiene.<\/p>\r\n<p>El stock de seguridad no solo nos protege frente a incrementos repentinos de la demanda o malos c\u00e1lculos en la previsi\u00f3n de la misma, tambi\u00e9n es \u00fatil por los posibles atrasos de nuestros pedidos: Cortes en la v\u00eda p\u00fablica, un accidente de tr\u00e1fico, retenciones de la mercanc\u00eda en puertos mar\u00edtimos, etc.<\/p>\r\n<p>Mantener un stock m\u00ednimo nos proporciona grandes beneficios como empresa, pero nos expone a los riesgos de una rotura de stock ante cualquier fallo, incluido aquellos que no podemos controlar.<\/p>\r\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"El_stock_de_seguridad_clave_en_tu_gestion_de_inventarios\"><\/span>El stock de seguridad, clave en tu gesti\u00f3n de inventarios<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p>Como hemos visto, el <strong>stock de seguridad<\/strong> desempe\u00f1a un papel crucial en la <strong>gesti\u00f3n de inventarios<\/strong>, actuando como un colch\u00f3n frente a variaciones imprevistas tanto en la demanda como en la cadena de suministro.<\/p>\r\n<p>Este stock nos proporciona una red de seguridad que permite a las empresas continuar con sus <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inesem.es\/revistadigital\/gestion-empresarial\/que-es-la-direccion-de-operaciones-y-cuales-son-sus-funciones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">operaciones<\/a>, evitando las numerosas consecuencias que sufrir\u00edamos por una rotura de stock, como son las p\u00e9rdidas de ventas y posibles clientes, parones en la producci\u00f3n, reducci\u00f3n de la competitividad y mala imagen de marca.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00bfSabes qu\u00e9 es el stock de seguridad en la gesti\u00f3n de inventarios?
